At DV Initiative, we have training modules that can be further tailored for each company’s specific needs and conditions. Our in-house training addresses the specific needs of employers on sexual harassment, workplace violence and domestic violence. Depending upon the learning objectives, the in-house trainings can be a half day, full day, or two day programs.
Below is an example of DV Initiative’s customized training for workplace domestic violence:
Workplace Domestic Violence Training
DV Initiative provides comprehensive instruction on how to legally, safely and effectively address domestic violence in the workplace. The training is interactive with role plays, break out groups and games. At the conclusion of the session the participants will know what to do when an employee is identified as a victim or batterer and just as importantly, what not to do. The training provides practical guidelines and procedures for specific domestic violence situations that managers, human resources and security personnel face on a regular basis.
The session is designed after detailed study of company newsletters, appropriate policies and procedures, handbooks and discussion with HR contact on specific needs. Training duration is three hours and can include up to 20 employees.
