Human Resources Certification Institute Certifies DV Initiative as an Approved Provider
Concord, MA May 27, 2005 DV Initiative is pleased to announce that the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) has certified DV Initiative as an approved provider. It is a great achievement for DV Initiative to have qualified for this certification. "We were able to become certified because our trainings have excellent educational design and content," said Ann Kaminstein DV Initiative's President. "Now all of our trainings are pre-approved for Human Resources continuing education credits."
In designing the "approved provider" program, HRCI used the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) authorized provider criteria for awarding continuing education credit. HRCI also benchmarked with other certification programs offering approved or preferred provider programs. The IACET has 10 established criteria for approved provider programs. The criteria "represents a systematic approach to cause learning to occur." In using a slightly modified form of their established criteria, HRCI can feel assured that HRCI approved providers meet some or all of those criteria important for learning to occur.
